How to Effectively use Facebook to build your business

Boredom. For most of us it plagues our lives. Though to avoid depression we refuse to admit it, most of us live relatively boring lives with brief moments of levity and excitement breaking up the monotony. Social Networking, if used properly allows us to see those moments in other peoples lives giving us more entertainment and less monotony. For me, about 85% of my day seems like I have done it before. My moments of levity normally come in the form of a good joke, or an awkward moment, or maybe even some type of game in which the primary gear is made up of office supplies. Who hasn’t made a paper football and tried to kick it through a finger goalpost.
The mistake most small business owners make with their Facebook pages is an over emphasis on the boring aspects of their companies and an underemphasis on why they go to work every day. Those of us that are optimist work hard when we need to and take the time to enjoy the little fun moments when they peak out. As a Social Networking Site, most of us go on Facebook to peak into our friends lives and see what they are up to. If you make the updates at your business fun and interesting, more people will read them and not “hide” you in their feed. Don’t get me wrong, the idea of the page is to market your business both by creating a loyalty and producing refferals from current clients. Promotional post are definitely effective, but only after a fun and reciprocal re-pore have been created with your followers. The more you respond to your clients post, the more influence you will gain in the networks.
Social Networking is a beautiful example of Karma, the more positive you put out there on the networks, the more influence and effectiveness you develop in your marketing campaigns.
Help me break up the Monotony of my day by joining my social networks:
